Speakers

An extensive speaker programme operates at the Museum.

Talks by Museum volunteers can be added to a group visit and are also available for local organisations who require a speaker for meetings or for corporate events. All talks include musical extracts.

Speaker as part of a Group Visit

Adding a talk will enhance any visit to the Museum. Groups will be given a personal insight into the world of Sir Edward Elgar bringing the great composer and his music to life. Also available is a talk about the work of the Museum and what goes on behind the scenes. The Museum is also able to cover more in depth talks for groups who have a special interest in Elgar or his music.

Charge: £2.00 per person + normal Museum Admission (Click for Prices and Booking)

    Visiting Speaker for Local Groups

If a group is based in Worcestershire, Herefordshire or Gloucestershire we can provide a speaker for meetings. For local groups this is an opportunity to hear about a local man. A man who loved the Worcestershire countryside, taught himself to compose music and is admired the world over for that music.

Charge: Donation requested (suggested minimum amount £40.00)

    Speaker for Corporate Events

The Museum is able to provide speakers for corporate events. If you are staying in Worcestershire why not hear about the area through one of its most famous sons. An opportunity not to be missed.

    Charge: Available on request
