The Museum's Sibelius set-up can provide an opportunity to work on composition or have a taster session with Sibelius. For students who do not have their own Sibelius at home, it offers an opportunity to work on course-work. It can also be useful for anyone wanting to print a score with a professional finish.
This can be booked in the same way as a Research Session. The set-up comprises a lap-top with the recently released Sibelius 6 Professional music software installed, a linked 47 key keyboard and head-phones, a sound-card which enables full use of the Sibelius sound library and an A3 printer/copier/scanner capable of printing or scanning documents up to A3 size.
