The Elgar Birthplace Museum provides a fantastic day out for school age groups.
School groups are welcomed by our friendly staff and volunteers and invited into the Carice Elgar Room to watch a free twenty minute Introductory Video to Elgar’s life and music.
After the video students are able to see the exhibitions and interactive displays in the Elgar Centre, explore the nineteenth century Birthplace Cottage complete with many family photos, mementoes and old-fashioned interiors, and take a photograph with the Elgar Statue at the bottom of the Cottage Garden.

Educational visits can be booked for school groups of any size at a cost of £2.00 per child.
