Despite the Birthplace’s thriving activities, its annual income is never enough to meet the yearly running costs. It receives no Government financial support and relies on donations, large and small to make ends meet.

Which means that its existence for future generations is perpetually at risk.

By raising funds in celebration of this 150th year of Elgar’s birth, his Birthplace and its valuable collection will be preserved for the future. For further information on the Elgar Birthplace Museum and Education please click here.

The £20 Note with Elgar’s image is being withdrawn by The Bank of England this year (2007). If you can afford it, why not donate one to the Elgar Birthplace Museum? You can donate on line, by simply clicking the button below. Or, if you would prefer to do so by post, click here to download and print a donation form.
